Lainey Ruffner, MPAS, PA-C, grew up in Western Pennsylvania just outside of the Pittsburgh area. She received both her Bachelor’s of Health Sciences and Master’s of Physician Assistant Studies from Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA.
Throughout her education, Lainey was a member of the Golden Key and Omnicron Delta Kappa honor societies as well as Pi Kappa Epsilon, the health sciences honors fraternity. She was also Vice-President of Duquesne’s Physician Assistant Student Association.
Lainey graduated from Duquesne in 2014 and moved to the Eastern Shore to begin her career as a Physician Assistant. She has been working in Urgent Care since January of 2015. Lainey is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
In her spare time, Lainey enjoys a variety of outdoors activities including hiking, biking and kayaking. She also loves reading, traveling and running. She completed her first marathon in 2016 and hopes to run another one soon.
Lainey is very excited to be working at Lower Shore Immediate Care alongside a team of very experienced and knowledgeable PAs. She hopes to continue to learn and grow in her profession while providing quality patient care to the Eastern Shore community.
