Meghan East, PA-C, grew up in Wicomico County and graduated from Mardela High School. She received bachelor of science degrees in Clinical Laboratory Science/Medical Technology and Biology from Salisbury University. She initially was employed at John Hopkins Hospital in their HIV Specialty Lab and then in the Automated Chemistry department at Peninsula Regional Medical Center. Meghan attended Towson University, from which she was awarded a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Her certificate as a physician assistant came from the Community College of Baltimore County.
Meghan has over a decade of experience in both internal & family medicine and urgent care. She enjoys looking for new ways to build upon her experience, which, in combination with a great love of learning, makes her a valuable resource for her patients. She is excited to be able to provide compassionate care while working for a local company serving her neighbors. Meghan is also an instructor in the Medical Laboratory Science department at Salisbury University where she shares her joy of medicine with many students. She works tirelessly to promote the PA profession on the campus as well.
